Please could you help me out. I'm looking to model a conical spring. I have got half way to what I want; using a law curve I have been able to model a conical spring which 'springs' from the 0,0,0 of the coordinate system to whatever length or radius I input.
What I need is for the conical spring helix to be defined from a start radius to a larger end radius.
Am I on the right track here? Is the law curve the way to go? (In I-deas I'd just vary the revolve command - don't seem to have that option in NX) Law curves seem to be a bit 'overkill' for this simple part..

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

For the 'radius method' choose 'use law' then the 'linear' option. This will give you a dialog for a start and end value; enter your start radius and end radius here.

That method was the one I'm after. It applies only to the helix command I assume...
