Cheap or Free alternative to Flow 3D or COSMOS?

Cheap or Free alternative to Flow 3D or COSMOS?

(OP)
I want to be able to run some simulations of liquid Nitrogen hitting an angled or 3D shaped surface. To make it less complicated, this simulation could assume the liquid as water. I have ACAD, so cosmos is out of the question. Flow 3D is obviously very expensive. Are there any non expensive, or free, alternatives? I have attached a video of a similar simulation we had payed to have done for us in the past.

RE: Cheap or Free alternative to Flow 3D or COSMOS?

What did you use in the past?  I don't think you should hold your breath waiting on some free FEA software.  You might think about asking the guys in the Simulation Forum though.

Search for OpenFlower and OpenFoam.  Both free CFD codes.

There are also free FEA codes around too.
