Does anyone knows what is the minimum and maximum melt temperature for EP332L Polyproplene.

I need the melt temperature in order to figure/determine the holding pressure graph i.e process window.

Thanks

Clifton

Dear Pat,

Thanks for your reply... I have the following article but unfortunatley i had no luck....

http://prospector.ides.com/ODMViewer.aspx?DOCID=39727&E=93901

Mainly the melt temperature should be around 230 deg celcius.

But in order to do the holding pressure graph i.e process window i need the minimum/maximum.

Thanks

Low flows 475-500 (246-260)
Medium flows 445-475 (228-246)
High flows 400-445 (200-228)
Extra high flows 385-420 (200-215)
Ultra high flows 370-385 (185-190)

Yes I read it...

but it does not specific for Polyproplene EP332L.

Thanks

RE: Melt tempreture

That is exactly why you need to get the information from the manufacturer. The data you request varies from grade to grade.

We can give general replies, but t answer accurately, we would need to determine who the manufacturer is then contact them or we would need to go to matweb for you. You can just as easily do it for yourself.

If you log in to their website (I believe creating an account is free) you can access their data sheets for the material.
