Spiral in Sketch

(OP)
I need to draw a spiral in the sketch function to produce a flat metal sheet outline but cannot find how to produce the spiral in Sketch. Some body please advise. I am using SolidWorks 2009.

RE: Spiral in Sketch

1. Sketch a circle in a sketch.
2. Exit sketch, choose circle, and Insert->Curve->Helix/Spiral.
3. Create new sketch on same plane as first sketch.
4. Select the spiral and "Convert Entities".
