Test Equipment

(OP)
Hello everyone
I am searching for an economical PCB fault finding equipment and I was thinking about Boardwizard from INDIA. what do you think?
I am planning to troubleshoot Fanuc PCB cards, Siemens and similar ones -from CNC and NC control-
Thank you very much

RE: Test Equipment

Hi, i have never found any of these types of equipment any use, although I haven't used the 1 u mention. My advice is to save your money, or send it to me if you want.

RE: Test Equipment

This money is not actually mine
What equipment have you actually used?

RE: Test Equipment

I agree with cbarn, much money for little use.

I think U should go far with a DMM, an oscilloscope and maybe a milliohm meter for shorts (yes, quite useful). Of course a current limited power supply.

RE: Test Equipment

unless you are troubleshooting same board all the time...you can design a board test rig ..with testpoints..for voltage, current or waveform, etc....using scope, DMM, freq generator...etc...besides i never heard of a device or equipment that can find fault on different types of boards from diff. manufacturers of CNC's...and even if there is...i am sure it will cost a fortune..
