Does anyone have temperature dependant properties for RTV 566? In particular, elastic modulus and poisson ratio. the temperature range of interest is from -190 C to + 200 C if available

The only data I have seen, which may be perfectly acceptable and accurate, dates back to 1976 in a JPL Solar Cell Array Design Handbook. Since the rtv 566 is often cited for special applications, it is somewhat surprising that no one has reported more up to date measurements.

Are we to believe that the material has never changed in 30+ years and that the values reported are sufficiently accurate for present day use?

RE: RTV mechanical properties

Here is a little more data (2008) from Nusil of an equivalent material.

Based on past experience I would say that the properties have not changed based on the fact that this material was approved by NASA for space. Any change in composition or poperties would immediately remove the material from the accepted list and a whole new series of testing over a period of years would be required.

I would contact either GE or Nusil concerning your applicatio of RTV 566 or CV 2566.
