Break in drawing of exploded assembly problem

Break in drawing of exploded assembly problem

Break in drawing of exploded assembly problem

(OP)
I have a long assembly that I want to do an exploded view of.  I was making a multiple exploded views for each section of it, and was going to make each section its own sheet in the drawing.  The problem is I didn't want the rest of the part just running off the edges of the sheet, so I used a break to hide the rest of the model.  When I do and print that I find the drawing obscured by these odd lines.  (see attachment)  This seems to be linked to the break somehow.  Any idea how I can remove them?

RE: Break in drawing of exploded assembly problem

It looks like your exploded view lines aren't following along with the inserted break. You should be able to find the exploded line sketch in the FM and hide it. While this should get rid of all those wayward lines, it'll also get rid of any of the lines you may want. You could also try RMB on each unwanted line and hiding.

I do want the exploded lines, they appear fine in the rest of the drawing.  They appear find on my screen too, it is only when I try to print that these other lines appear.

I did try what you suggested and hid the exploded line drawing, for some reason this hid the entire model, except for the lines I am trying to get rid off.  Looking at them though it does seem like they are related to the exploded lines.  But they aren't the exploded lines themselves, more like exploded line shadows

What graphics card are you using?

Radeon HD 2400 XT

RE: Break in drawing of exploded assembly problem

Therein lies your problem. The Radeon cards aren't approved graphics cards. Most unapproved cards will end up having one issue or another, depending on the complexity of your models. For a list of approved cards/drivers, go to: http://www.solidworks.com/sw/videocardtesting.html
