Drawing with both BOM and Cut List parts?

Drawing with both BOM and Cut List parts?

Drawing with both BOM and Cut List parts?

(OP)
I have a tube-frame weldment modeled in one part file.
I have an assembly file with the above weldment and some pipe fitting parts, which are also welded.
The pipe fittings need to be tacked and welded at the same time as the rest of the steel for alignment.

What is the best way to list all the parts on 1 drawing?

Thanks!

RE: Drawing with both BOM and Cut List parts?

In the weldment part file.

Insert->Part

Navigate to pipe fitting, insert, place as needed.

In cut list in the part.

Select all items of same type, i.e. all half inch elbows. RMB-> Create new cut list item. RMB on the newly created cut list item-> Properties. Fill in properties where necessary.

The drawing will reflect these parts in the cut list if done correctly.

I thought that would suck but it didn't.  =)

I ended up making a separate pipe fitting weldment and inserting that weldment into the main one.  Thanks!
