I am designing a system utilizing a 60,000 gallon above ground tank per NFPA 22 and would like to locate a supplier for a listed indicating control valve for automatic filling of the tank.

Read Pedarrin2 post below.

Thank you lightecho. I had read the post and already knew there was no butterfly vavle w/actuator listed for the service. I have a supplier trying to push an Inbal deluge type valve for tank filling and the AHJ and I have some reservations. I was looking for other suggestions

RE: Listed Indicating Control Valve

I have looked at Cla-Valve, Bermand, and OCV and found listed deluge valves.

Their tank fill valves which operate on a float would meet my requirements, but they are not UL listed.

Currently the AHJ is looking at our design approach and has yet to make a decision.
