HELP! I need to embed a revision table in a .slddrt!

HELP! I need to embed a revision table in a .slddrt!

(OP)
Going thru some design changes, and now need to change the template that the drawings have. I usually right-click the sheet, and browse to the appropriate customized .slddrt file to do this. However, I actually need a revision table in the .slddrt so that one is generated every time the template is replaced.

I understand that one can save sheet format template in .slddrt and revision table template in .sldrevtbt, but I have not been able to save one into the other. Once I try Save Sheet Format, the Revision Table disappears.

Help! Thanks, all!

Don't save the Rev table into the .slddrt sheet format. Save it into the .slddot drawing template.

Ok I guess there is no way to do it straight on the slddrt, right?

I am trying to change the templates for existing drawings by doing a property change, instead of opening up a new drawing and selecting the drwdot. drwdot will not show up if you do a template change on existing drawings.

The difference isn't that huge, just a couple steps extra, though I do have to do this to 200+ drawings :(

Thanks for the tip!

Correct ... unless you want to create your own rev table with lines and text.

Sounds like you need a macro to first switch the sheet format (.slddrt) and then add a Rev table.
