Seismic Design Force on Pipe Supports

(OP)
Hi Folks,
I've designed a few steel pipe supports in refineries in accordance with CBS-07 and ASCE7-05 section 12-8 and chapter 15 (i.e chapter 15.4-2, Inverted pendulum type).
But now I am just wondering if I've been using a right method of analysis. does anyone know if I should use Chapter 13 of ASCE instead (section 13.3).
Thanks
