RE: hot oil

There may very well be some here who will provide you with everything you need to submit their work to your boss with your name on it, but it sure ain't me.  Whenever anyone on eng-tips.com says "state your sources" I say "I only do that for people who are paying me for my time, for free you get my opinions without citations.  Posts like yours really anger me.

Have a nice day.

David

RE: hot oil

Agree 100%, zdas04 - OP, don't be lazy, do your own research - don't ask someone else to do it for you. Here's a thought for you: pump standards actually exist that could give you an answer to your question. You should try looking them up and reading them.

RE: hot oil

Just go look up the Allweiler NTWH series of pumps, they're designed for hot oil service up to 600F.  Whatever materials they're made of are good for this service, depending, of course, on what your application really is.
