excel bill of materials?

(OP)
I was wondering if it was possible to import an Excel spreadsheet into Pro-E for something on the lines of a Bill of Materials.  I imported a sheet but it did not work correctly.  Is there a simple way to make a Bill of Materials without having to go through the table tab?

RE: excel bill of materials?

Travis,

I believe the Table Tab is best and only way to accomplish what you are attempting to do.  I could be mistaken, but I don't believe that Pro/E is capable of being an OLE container.  Which means that you can not import Microsoft files into Pro/E.
