RE: How can I export a UGNX part file to a jt file?

If you know how to do it using the menus then you'll be able to do it using a macro or journal. You can pause for a user input when it offers you a part naming option. Maybe you'll want to add that button under an icon later.

What you can also do is to go into File>Options>Save Options and tick on save JT data. That will save the files or assemblies in the same directories as the part files in native using the same name with a JT extension. If you're using teamcentre it appends them to item masters.

If you don't want to set that as a global default but you're happy with that naming strategy, then why not create a macro or journal that goes in ticks the Save Option to ON then saves the file, and goes back to switch it off when done. Then you won't need to type anything or pause for user input, and it could be one of the more convenient ways to get the desired result.
