Any Cisco Router Specialists out there?
Any Cisco Router Specialists out there?
(OP)
I've noticed training courses are quite pricy $$$.
A group of fellow techs. are trying to justify a course to cover the small but growing number of routers in our SCADA network. It would be nice to use this forum to get some occssional help when confronted with various problems that arise sometimes. Even a hint to point us in the right direction can be useful. Learning by trial and error can be frustrating and time consuming. I'll see how the replies go before getting to specifics at this stage.

RE: Any Cisco Router Specialists out there?
I'm thinking you are in the wrong forum site. The Eng-Tips forums are for college degreed engineers with undergraduate and graduate majors like CS (Computer Science). The Cisco router specialists you are looking to talk with are not going to be on the Eng-Tips website. The Network Engineering forum here is intended to allow those people to talk about network protocols, topology theory, etc...
We have another forum we host for IT and IS staffs at http://www.tek-tips.com Tek-Tips Forums. There are a few Cisco specific forums there for routers, switches and their firewall products. Go to the front door and use the keyword "cisco" in the "Find a Forum" search box, OK?
If you find that's the place for you just send me an e-mail (to my address below) to delete your membership from this site and be sure to include your handle.
Hope this helps.
