I have a problem. When in draft mode, if i am adding a suffix or prefix, and the mouse cursor moves off of the dialog box for the suffix/prefix, solid edge then thinks you are overiding the dimension and whatever input is typed is now in the dimension overide

i have attached a screenshot

sorry i double posted.

anyways, i have another issue that is very similar. when i am extruding something the cursor must be over the extrude menu or dialog box whatever it is now. if it is not over it solid edge will not recognize a typed distance.

this must be some setting that i cant seem to find, it has been a thorn in my productivity for months.

RE: dimension overide in draft (st)

I think it's a 'feature' of ST and something that annoyed me when I was using it recently.
In V20 the focus usually moves automatically to the input field, but not in ST.

bc.

dang! it is really annoying, I thought I could get rid of this. i was using an older version the other day and it was wonderfull, everything was so smooth going

RE: dimension overide in draft (st)

issue #1 is still there with V100/Mp5 but your second issue
should be fixed now. Note however, that the heading 'Extent ..'
is active (yellow colour) otherwise the value field will
not get the interrupt (the keyed-in value that is)
