Does anybody used torus formula for calculating the tube wall thickness on bends. If so, where can I find the formula.

RE: Torus Formula

I used Torus Formula whenever the tube thickness after bending does not meet minimum thickness requirement by ASME formula and the AI's typically accept this method. It is quite complicated so a MathCad file was developed. I cannot share it because it is a company property but I believe you can find the calculation method from many places online.
