Seals for a vane motor as steam expander

(OP)
Hello. I am a power hobbist and I am designing a large vane motor as steam expander. But I do not know how to seal the rotor axial face and the vanes sides to the end plate. I was planning to make the rotor face and the vanes sides as flat as possible and press them against the end plate, which should de made of vespel, hopping to seal while reducing the wear. What do you think? do you have other ideas? Thanks.
