Challengng meshing problems?

Challengng meshing problems?

Challengng meshing problems?

(OP)
We are experimenting with a "meshfree" solver that does not require meshing,  and looking for solid models that are particularly difficult to mesh,  e.g. those with small features, complex geometry, etc.  Ideally, would like them to be Parasolid models (such as those used in NX), but other solids would be also of interest.

Thank you.

RE: Challengng meshing problems?

Hi,

What is the name of this solver, please ?
I am quite interested in such a software.

Regards,

Julien

Julien,

The solver is not on the market yet,  and I am not sure how it would be packaged.  It is currently being benchmarked against commercial FEA codes on linear stress problems.
Drop me a note at sempredritto@gmail.com  if you want to know more ... and particularly if you have good examples to try!
