Water brake suppliers/upgrades for dyno?

Water brake suppliers/upgrades for dyno?

Water brake suppliers/upgrades for dyno?

(OP)
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a waterbrake that could be purchased seperate from a complete dyno system. I am looking for something that can absorb ~800 hp with max of 9000RPM. I am considering upgrading a snowmobile dyno that was originally rated for ~300hp. I have read through thread71-84432: Home Built Water Brake Dyno's. Any insight would be appreciated.

RE: Water brake suppliers/upgrades for dyno?

you might be able to manage something with a torque converter or fluid coupling, but you probably would need a way to supply the bearings with oil, and reject heat from the water.
