Boundary conditions in two different coordinate systems

Boundary conditions in two different coordinate systems

Boundary conditions in two different coordinate systems

(OP)
Hi,

I have a problem applying displacement boundary conditions in two differents planes with a common edge.
The displacement normal to the planes have to be set two zero. I have created a local coordinate system. However, this causes a problem.
When I create the input file, I obtain the following message.
"The following pairs of attributes are applied to overlapping/intersecting/adjoining regions in differing coordinate systems."

How is it possible to sort out this issue? (without equations)

Thanks

R

RE: Boundary conditions in two different coordinate systems

If you've defined the faces as sets then remove the common edge from one of the sets by using the ctrl button when selecting.
