Self Cooling Motors

Self Cooling Motors

Self Cooling Motors

(OP)
My project is a water pump station that requires  two(one-firm) 2000gpm pumps w/two 250 hp motors and three (one-firm)1650 gpm pumps/three 100 hp motors to be housed in a unmanned 4000 sq. ft.  building.  There is a request to have the entire  building air condinitioned.  I am against cooling the entire building and only want to cool the MCC room.  The operating cost for cooling the building is high.  The response I get from staff is:  How are the motors going to be keep from overheating?

Can anyone assist me in providing information on motors that are self cooled in similar water pump stations?

The facility is to be built in Austin Texas where the summer temperatures can range from 90 degrees F to 102 degrees F, during the months of Ausgust to September.

I will be happy to provide more information if this will help.

Thanks in advance.
