Is there any way to BOW a formed sheetmetal part in solidworks?

RE: bow sheet metal part

Try the Flex function.

RE: bow sheet metal part

What I do is draw a sketched bend in sheet metal mode. I assign the 'bow' a large radius like 12". I allow extra material to allow the bend to occur, then I measure the remaining material past the end of the bend and reduce my original material by that amount, which leaves me a perfect large diameter arc, which can be 'flattened'.
