ID fan blades configuration

ID fan blades configuration

ID fan blades configuration

(OP)
In the licensor document , for the ID fan of the Fired heater , it has been mentioned that the blades shall be of Radial or Modified Radial self cleaning type. My query is whether Modified Radial Self cleaning type is equal to the Radial Tipped Blade. ( Radial tipped blade is more efficient than Radial Blade). I have read that the Radial tipped is a curved blade and the tip alone is radial.Whether the Radial tipped blade is Self cleaning type? Thanks to clarify.

RE: ID fan blades configuration

A radial tipped fan is generally considered to be self cleaning.  Whether or not "modified radial self cleaning type" is radial tipped or not, I could not say.
