How to add space around dimensions in Crosshatch

How to add space around dimensions in Crosshatch

How to add space around dimensions in Crosshatch

In SW2006, the Help article talks about how you can add (or modify existing?) Crosshatching to a bordered area and provide "halo space" around the annotations/dimensions that might appear in that view.

HOW is this set or done??

RE: How to add space around dimensions in Crosshatch

Go to Tools > Options > Document Properties > Detailing and select Show halo around annotations in the Area Hatch Display section.

I must be blind.... Under Tools> Options> Document Properties> Detailing, I don't see the Area Hatch Display section nor the Show halo around annotations option.

However, under System Options, there is "Area Hatch/Fill" dialog box, but there's nothing about Show halo etc...

The section view to the right in this Screen shot has R.13 that would look alot better if the leader were "haloed".

RE: How to add space around dimensions in Crosshatch

Sorry, I missed that you were on SW06. I no longer have access to that version, so cannot check where it is.

Unless someone pinpoints it for you, you will just have to inspect each option page (which is a good idea anyway) to find the setting.

"The section view to the right in this Screen shot has R.13 that would look alot better if the leader were "haloed".

Or moved to the top so that it referenced the inside of the radius.
