Hi All,

I have had a discussion with my client about the Hydro Test pressure that could be used when a Vessel is designed for a Vacuun or Partial Vacuum.

I have some Pressure Vessels that are designed for 0.5/-1 bar(g) and my client required me to hydro test the Vessel at a pressure equal to 1.3 X 1 (Allowable stress ratio is equal to 1) where 1 is the difference to the max. absolute differential pressure.

Anyboby can help me on this issue?
I always carried out the pressure test considering only the internal design pressure pressure as per UG-99(b).

Thanks in advance.
