Free Access to All MIT's Undergraduate Course Materials

A colleague forwarded this to me.  I thought it was quite interesting.  Having a quick look at some of the lecture notes shows a range of information from basic presentations which are not much use without attending the lecture through to quite detailed resources.

US University MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) has set up OpenCourseWare (OCW), which offers the course materials for virtually all of its undergraduate and graduate degrees, online, absolutely free.

RE: Free Access to All MIT's Undergraduate Course Materials

Good post Ussuri.  I've gone through the MIT opencourseware site several times.  They also offer some material from their graduate level courses.  Unfortunately, some of the professors only upload partial lecture notes and they're impossible to follow.  But nonetheless, its a great way to find some interesting research topics.

Looks interesting. Thanks!

Thanks.

I found some courses on podcasts too that were pretty cool though some are hard to follow. Will see if I can find the link.

The videos of MIT courses are also available through Apple iTunes. The also have lectures from a number of other institutions. If you go to the iTunes Store section, there is a link for "iTunes U" that will let you browse lectures.

The MIT videos are also on YouTube (not sure about other schools).

Good stuff. Now I just need the time to listen to it all

Good stuff indeed, though I remember watching some of the videos a while back and the amount of material they "covered" in a single lecture.  The pace was quite staggering!
