Design Tables

Design Tables

(OP)
My english is not that very well, but I hope you will understand my problem. I'm using SolidWorks 2007 for the record.

I made an assembly of a conveyor belt. I added some equations and a design table to the assembly. Now we easy can change the mates (width, length) and all the parts automaticly changes to the right shapes.

Now the problem. At the drawings of each part, we want the design table with al different parameters per part. This could be realised by adding a design table on each part. How can I make these design tables automaticly driven by the design table of the assembly?

I hope you understand my problem en get an answer of that.

RE: Design Tables

Do you have a Design Table at the assy level?
Does it call up different configurations of the pat?

If you are changing the parts at the assy level, then effectively you only ever have one size part. There will be no configurations.

Hey CorBlimeyLimey,

that's exactly the problem I've got to deal with. The parts are changing at the assy level. Is there another way to do this? I want that the whole assy, with all of his parts, changes when I add a new length. But now the parts doesn't get a new configuration automaticly.

How can I solve this problem?
