Need good book about substation grounding

Need good book about substation grounding

Need good book about substation grounding

(OP)
Hi,

I have been visiting India recently and found out to my surprise that they do not use copper in their substation grounding [they use steel cables and steel members].  A utility engineer is telling me that they are having ground potential differences that affect their SCADA equipment functioning correctly.  They want to know how we do substation and line grounding in the USA.  Can you guys recommend a good book ?  Preferably one available from the web.

Thanks for your help.

RE: Need good book about substation grounding

As a start, try the IEEE Green Book as well as the REA Guide to Substation Grounding.  Neither are free but great referneces.
