Hi solidworks guyssmile

getting mad in front of the parts for the company i'm working for, i'm trying to solve this problem, and at the moment i think there is no solution..

according to you there's any way to drive the instances to skip in a circular pattern by a table or configurations?

thanks in advance in advance for the usual kind help you provide!!! and have a nice W/E!

RE: instances to skip and table

Easy,  Create two patterns with different instances skipped and suppress one or the other in different configurations.

RE: instances to skip and table

Are you trying to skip instances of features in a part, or parts in an assy?

in a part

as i can understand after a lot of time lost , i think that i cannot drive the instances to skip from a configurations table

RE: instances to skip and table

Timelord's suggestion is a good and easy solution.

RE: instances to skip and table

I agree that creating another pattern feature an easy solution, but it does seem a little odd that instances to skip can't be controlled through a design table. Hopefully that's something that will make its way into the software in the future.

RE: instances to skip and table

It might if enough people submit an Enhancement Request (ER) to SolidWorks. If no-one submits, it won't.
