I am just wondering where I find out the short circuit data the PWM VFD backfeeds to the power system (VFD Line side). We need to use J type of fuses to clear the rectifier faults as soon as possible, whthin 100ms. But if we size the fuses too small, they will trip on overload.

Probably very little to none. Check with the manufacturer.
