Can anyone shed some light on this tolerance problem.

Selecting "Bilateral" normally brings up a default value of 0.000 inches in both + and - boxes... Not so in one drawing I made... it comes up with a default value of 0.00000394in in the plus box and +0.00000394 in the - box..  Now the trouble is I can not input a negative value in the negative box and end up with an error message from SW2009 SP0.0.

Any thoughts... this is a small drawing, I could easily do it over..and have worked around it. No other drawings I have made have this problem...

I can not duplicate this problem.. originally I wondered if this was an obscure bug.. I deleted a lot of initial views before settling on the one I did and wondered if that was the cause.. was not... at least I could not repeat it.

It would be nice to know how to fix it...if it is a "settings" thing.

RE: Tolerancing bug SW 2009 SP0.0

Yes, I beleive it is a known bug.  SW2009 is up to SP3.0.  Probably be a good idea to update to the latest SP.  I am pretty darn sure your issue will go away then.
