Vault Drawing Control

Vault Drawing Control

Vault Drawing Control

(OP)
Will AutoCAD Inventor Vault allow me to change the Revision of a drawing and model? Or will I need Vault Workgroup. How much control can a non-administrator user have while using AutoCAD Inventor Vault?

RE: Vault Drawing Control

From what I understand, Vault controls versions, not revisions.  If you are looking for something more automated on check-in, you may have to look at ProductStream.

The control you have is based on permissions your administrator gives you.

automationbabe,
Thanks for your reply. Just got off the phone with our VAR to be. He agrees with you. To let our Designers and Engineers change revision levels (not just versions) we need Vault Workgroup.
A star for you.
