Pro-E to Abaqus conversion

Pro-E to Abaqus conversion

Pro-E to Abaqus conversion

(OP)
Hello

I have a model developed in PRO-E which I am trying to import into Abaqus. I am saving it with a  *.igs extension from PRO-E and importing from Abaqus as a part. It does work but a few of the curves of the solid surface are missing.

I searched on internet about the elysium translator and some other stuff but thought I will try for .igs first.

Is there a better way of doing this?

Thank you in advance
jade

RE: Pro-E to Abaqus conversion

You'll probably have better success using a STEP export from Pro/E then importing that into Abaqus/CAE.
