VB6 code for using OPC to talk with RSLinx

VB6 code for using OPC to talk with RSLinx

VB6 code for using OPC to talk with RSLinx

(OP)
Does anyone have code they are willing to share on how to read/write data from/to a RSLogix-5000 using VisualBasic-6?  Actually, I already have working code; I'm hoping that someone has 'better' code.

I did find some discussions about this topic here, but that was from 2002 and the members appear to be no longer active.  I may be wrong on this... I've just joined this site a few moments ago and may not be looking for the info properly.

Anyway, my old program was adapted from code I got from an AllenBradley rep (rslopcauto.xlx) about 9 years ago.  It uses OPC through RSLinx.  I'm hoping that someone out there has a better examlpe.

RE: VB6 code for using OPC to talk with RSLinx

This probably isn't the correct forum for what you're after... this forum is more for DSP-based coding, not PLC (which, I believe, is what RSX is for).
