Pile Supported Mat Foundation

(OP)
I am designing a pile supported mat foundation.  I would like to do some hand calc to check my Staad Foundation model moments.  i will be ignoring soil bearing pressure and only assuming the piles are taking the loads.   I have tried to find literature about this situation but have only found mentions of pile supported mats, but no analysis or examples.  Does anyone have any direction they can point me in?

RE: Pile Supported Mat Foundation

Try googling: Chow Analysis of Piled-Raft Foundation
There is a Ph.D. Thesis by Helen Chow (University of Sydney) that I was able to find.

RE: Pile Supported Mat Foundation

From the angle of approximate structural analysis, you have a condition of columns supporting flat slab. ACI DDM or EFM can provide a ball park estimates.
