How to create a model over mesh

How to create a model over mesh

How to create a model over mesh

(OP)
Hi,

i have an imported 3d meshed model from ansys icem cfd. I need to create a cylinder model over this mesh model so that the cylinder touches in exactly with the mesh model circumferential. The problem in here is , as there were no entities(like area ,volume, lines) imported from icem cfd to ansys classic i need to know how to make up this problem? I tried merging option of nodes and some other stuff like creating cylinder using the dimensions measured by nodal distances..but didn't workout. Can someone help me in this problem? Some kind of hint will also be valuable to my problem.

 Thanks in advance.
Regards,
saurav

RE: How to create a model over mesh
