Shear wall w/openings

(OP)
Fellers,

i am looking for a good program that would let me design tilt wall panels with openings as shearwalls and load-bearing.  Up to 4 stories in height.  What are the better programs for this?

thanks

RE: Shear wall w/openings

I've used PCA wall and found it good.

Not very intuitive, but it'll get the job done.

RE: Shear wall w/openings

Ram Advanse has a Tilt-Up Wall module.  I have never used it, but know it is there.

RE: Shear wall w/openings

I think the best way is doing by hand or design the wall between openings as a shear wall. I have never seen a good masonry program.

RE: Shear wall w/openings

The ram advanse tilt-up module works very well.  And it will do up to 4 story tilt-up. The only problem is when you exceed the 0.06 f'c code limit, than ram has some problems, but all in all I think it is very good.
