Fire Flow Req'd Volume per NFPA based on occupancy

(OP)
Good day. I need to determine the Fire Flow Storage Volume required for a Health Care facility per NFPA based on occupancy. Should I look into NFPA Codes 22 & 99?

In which cases is the NFPA applicable? Why not use the IBC or other?

Thank you,

RE: Fire Flow Req'd Volume per NFPA based on occupancy

None of your referenced standards and codes will tell you fire flow. See Appendix B of the International Fire Code or NFPA 1.
