Assy Positioning Constrants & Teamcenter Engineering

Assy Positioning Constrants & Teamcenter Engineering

Assy Positioning Constrants & Teamcenter Engineering

(OP)
I have an assy stored in Teamcenter (V10.0.2.5) which contains Positioning Constraints.  When I attempt to retrieve it in UG NX5.0.3, I get an error and the retrieval fails.

"An attempt was made to remove or replace a non-existent reference"

If I retrieve it into UG using "Structure Only" I can get at least get the assy into session, w/o parts however.  When I attempt to activate the parts, the error comes back.

If I delete off my positioning constraints and then activate the parts in the Assy Navigator they will retrieve into session.

Seems there is some sort of bug w/ UG, Teamcenter and Positioning Constraints.  Any workarounds to this issue?  I've been informed we are not going to move to a new maintenance build of NX5 or even NX6 anytime soon.

Thanks..

Sorry forgot more information.  This assy also has two arrangements in place.
