What is the difference between WP, WPA, WPB designations for example in ASTM A234 designations?  Can anyone refer me to a good resource for these designations for future reference?

Thanks

RE: ASTM Designations

Pulppiper;
The WPX designations are defined in the ASTM A 234 specification Do you have a copy of this specification? WP stands for welded pipe fitting. There is no WP, it is WPA or WPB. The suffix designation refers to Grades and you can find out this information on your own by reviewing the ASTM material specification.
