Batch Plotting

Batch Plotting

Batch Plotting

(OP)
Hi

I want to know is there a way in AutoCAD2008 to plot many drawing by arranging them in a large sheet (like a utility comes with Autodesk Inventor of Multisheet plotting)
I remember there was a uitlity of Batch plotting or something like that comes with AutoCAD. But now i can not find anything like that.
Kinldy advice please.

RE: Batch Plotting

Yes there is, select all of your layout tabs by clicking on one hold down the shift button or control 'CTRL' and select the layouts.  Then right click and select publish selected layouts.  Be sure to have the plotter/papersize/plotstyles selected and set in your setup manager before doing this and hitting ok.

RE: Batch Plotting

i concur with ProDraftsman on publish; if you want to run publish on multiple drawings at the same time, you have to set up a sheet set (command line = ssm). in the sheet set manager, you can import layouts from multiple drawings, set up a sheet set, and then run publish on the entire set of drawings!
