Synchronous belt drive parts

Synchronous belt drive parts

Synchronous belt drive parts

(OP)

I am looking for manufacturer part numbers and sources for a synchronous belt drive that will connect an electric motor to a jackshaft on an electric motorcycle.
Handle Torque up to: 28 ft/lbs
Up to 3500 RPM
Ratios between 1:1 and 1.3:1
0.75 in shaft sizes
Maximum width of 1.8 in
Maximum diameter of 2.75 in
Center to Center: 5.5 to 5.75 in

I need manufacturer, part numbers, supplier, and price for:
2 aluminum pulleys
1 belt

RE: Synchronous belt drive parts

Gates PolyChain. Or any other similar product from several other suppliers.

ANY, and I mean ANY, local industrial supply place in your local yellow pages phone book can get an enormous selection of belts and pulleys for you to choose from.

By the way, a Google search of "Gates PolyChain catalog" will prove instructive.

Thanks to both dvd and Brian,
I was hoping someone here may have had experience with a similar application.

I asked around and found a friend using Gates polychain for a motorcycle drive application. The part number he used was:
Gates GT2-8MGT-896-30

I then contacted Motion Industries as dvd rcommended and sent these specs for them to help select appropriate parts numbers.
