Thread Adapter

(OP)
I am designing a slightly pressurized system using polypropelene bottles. My problem is that all the tubing and pipe fittings have NPT threads while the plastic bottle has a 28-410 thread. Is there an adapater to go from plastic bottle threads to NPT? If not, is there a NPT size that would come close to fitting, this is not a critical application and a "close enough" fit will do. Thanks!

RE: Thread Adapter

How much is "slightly" pressurized?

RE: Thread Adapter

Seal on the inside of the bottle neck, e.g. with a tapered rubber stopper or rigid plug with a fat o-ring.  Bore a hole in the regular cap and use it to retain the plug.

RE: Thread Adapter

Get a cap with a dispensing nozzle.  Select an appropriate sized female pipe fitting and screw it onto the nozzle.
