We are finished building a "UM" stamped ASME Section VIII Div. 1 vessel that was quoted in 2008. The order was placed in January 2009.
Can I stamp the fill the data report as a 2006 edition vessel or must I use 2006 edition, add 07? I know there is a paragraph that defines use of previous editions! I have looked around in the codebook for about 25 minutes but could not find the answer??

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Agree with vesselfab. Anything ordered or designed after January 1 2009 would need to be 2007 Edition 2008 Addenda. If you had a purchase order and started something back in 2008, you could justify 2007 edition with no addenda, but the rule has always been "quotin don't count" for obvious reasons. I could have quoted something 3 years ago and get the order today!
