WF2 & WF3 on XP64

WF2 & WF3 on XP64

(OP)
One of our engineers was laid off back in December. He designed a lot of his parts in WF2, as he was a proe guy with no training on SWX. We were using SolidWorks and ProE for our design work till it was decided to not renew our proE maintenace contract in 07 and only run one cad program. Well, proe is on his old machine (XP) and I was wanting to install it on my machine (XP64) since I'm the only one now who knows how to use it. My question is, will WF2 or WF3 run on an XP64 system?

RE: WF2 & WF3 on XP64

Yes it will...We have WF3 running with 64bit XP.

You can also download a 64bit version from PTC if you a maintenance contract.

Without a maintenance contract, you nay be limited in your ability to obtain a copy of the code for a 64bit OS.

I called PTC and had them send me a new license file for WF3 based on my host ID since we are authorized 1 seat. Just finished installation and it seems to work fine. Thanks
