MANHOLE BARREL RINGS COMING OUT H2s

MANHOLE BARREL RINGS COMING OUT H2s

(OP)
Has anyone had experiences with concrete manholes that have their section (barrel) sealing rings coming out.  This is do to the H2s problem within the linage.  I know how to seal the manhole from the H2s.  But, what do I do with the seal rings/gaskets that you can see within the manhole?.  I have one that you can see 3' of the ring gasket.   Do you cut them then seal off the area?
Suggestions!

RE: MANHOLE BARREL RINGS COMING OUT H2s

After I cut out the joint material, I'd pack the joint with a chemical resistant grout and coat the whole thing with a Sauereisen Hydrogen Sulfide Resistant Epoxy Mortar.  Cover the joint material you can see with the grout.  Hopefully there's a recess there to pack the grout into.
Most of the manholes we rehabilitate are in such bad shape that the gasket material squeezing out is way down the list in priority.
