Lifting lug design to BTH-1

Lifting lug design to BTH-1

Lifting lug design to BTH-1

(OP)
A Client is now mandating that lifting lugs on their pressure vessels be designed to ASME BTH-1 (Design of Below-the-Hook Lifting Devices).  Codeware's Compress software designs lugs for the BTH-1 allowable stresses, but this isn't acceptable.  In addition, they require the lug to be designed for a 5% out of plane bending.
Lifting lugs dsigns will have to be completed for:
- horizontal drums with two lugs (one at each end)at top center
- horizontal drums with 4 lugs (2 at each end rotated somewhat off center to clear nozzles)
- vertical towers (where the tower is lifted from horizontal to vertical) with top head lugs and tailing lug
Does anyone know of any software available for this type of design ??
