Eigenvalue Buckling Analysis using Abaqus v6.7

Eigenvalue Buckling Analysis using Abaqus v6.7

(OP)
Hi,

I am modelling a vertebral column as a simple cylindrical column. Its fixed at the bottom and I am applying a pressure load of 1000N at the top.
I am trying to determine the critical buckling load.
Is one buckling mode enough for this?
If so I get an eigenvalue of -4046.1 for the first one. Having read the other posts, to get the critical buckling load, I am supposed to to multiply the applied load with the eigenvalue...which means I'd get -4046000.1...that doesn't sound right.
What am I doing wrong?
Please help!
