short circuit effects on phone lines

(OP)
Does anyone know of a good reference of the effects of short circuits on phone lines?
Specifically I am looking for the ground current flow in the shield, neutrals, and ground grid, in order to calculate the voltage on the phone equipment.

I don't need any references on calculating short circuit.

RE: short circuit effects on phone lines

The Westinghouse T&D Reference Book has a chapter on coordination of power and communciation systems that includes equations for the voltage induced in a communciation conductor by magnetic induction.  Chapter 23.II.8 (Low-Frequency Coupling Factors) in the fourth edition.  This is for overhead conductors.

SES has a software package for analyzing interference that can be used for underground lines.  See http://www.sestech.com/HiddenPages/GroundingForAci.htm
